Does this mean he can be more faithful
or just more brokenhearted when betrayed – 
or that he can love a trio of octopi
in a menage a quatre to put the French to shame
since he has heart and arms enough to embrace
the contradictions that constrain, confound,
and confuse our singular 
merely human hearts?
